About the practice
Small on purpose.
ELAIOS LTD is a company based at 16 Brunstane Mill Road in Edinburgh. We work with founders, charities, small businesses and internal teams who have an idea for an app or website and want it handled with care.
We would rather tell you a feature is not worth building than build it badly.
Why the practice began
Plenty of digital projects fail not because the code was difficult, but because nobody wrote down who the product was for, what it had to do first, and how it would be released and looked after. We set up ELAIOS to sit in that gap: part designer, part developer, part careful release manager.
People we work well with
- People with a clear problem but no technical team.
- Organisations with an existing app or site that has become confusing to use.
- Teams who have built something and now need help getting it through store review and into people’s hands.
- Small offices needing dependable, business-hours IT help.
When we are not the right fit
If you need round-the-clock operations cover, a large in-house-sized team, or a fixed price for an undefined scope, we will say so early and, where we can, suggest a better fit.
How conversations go
Plain British English, written summaries after calls, and no jargon we cannot explain. We are available Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00 UK time.
